A fairytale for all audiences
Tchaikovsky’s famous score to his third ballet, The Nutcracker
(1892), had long ago become an accompaniment to the Christmas
holiday traditions of warmth, family, gifts, and fuzzy childhood
memories all over the world. In many countries, a family trip to the
local production of The Nutcracker is an annual event. Young
dancers grow up performing in their schools’ Nutcracker, slowly
graduating from the smallest mouse, or a clown, into the proper
ballet roles of snowflakes, flowers, dolls, and sugarplums. At the
School of Russian Ballet, we are creating this tradition on Costa del
Sol. With professionally designed sets and costumes, inventive
choreography, and nearly 50 dancers on stage, our Nutcracker is a
Christmas fairytale coming true for the fifth year in a row. Join us to
partcipate in this wonderful tradition, and make it part of your holiday
season during our warm Spanish winter.
